How to prepare your tea:

 

Herbal tea;

  • Measure out approximately 1 teaspoon of dried herbs per 8 oz of water.
  • Place herbs in cup, reusable tea bag, or tea ball. set aside.
  • Bring water to boil, and pour boiling water over herbs into the mug.
  • Cover the mug and let sit for 15-20 minutes.
  • Strain, sweeten, if desired, and drink.

 

Herbal Decoction;

  • Measure out approximately 4 tablespoons of dried herbs per quart (4 cups) of water.
  • Place herbs in a pot and pour water over them. Bring to a boil.
  • Stir, cover and reduce heat to simmer.
  • Simmer for 20 to 35 minutes, depending on the strength and flavor of the herbs. 
  • Strain, sweeten, if desired, and drink.
